Description
Responsible for the administrative support/coordination for meetings such as Annual Reviews, Interim Reviews and CAF meetings including agenda preparation, collation of supporting papers, minute taking, production and distribution of minutes and any additional documentation.
- To undertake a comprehensive range of administrative services within the SEN department, ensuring that work is prioritised and deadlines are met.
- Maintain SEN student records both electronic and paper files including records are archived in line with the ICO regulations.
- Maintain, update and distribute documentation relating to SEN students including the Inclusive Register and IEP's.
- Coordinate routine and nonroutine communication with service users on issues of a highly confidential and sensitive nature including parents and agencies such as other education establishments, health and other Local authorities relating to SEN students.
- Support in developing SEN administration procedures and practices, making recommendations as appropriate.
- To undertake a comprehensive range of administration tasks, ensuring that work is prioritised and deadlines are met.
- Contribute to the planning, development and organisation of office systems/procedures.
- Supporting with officer cover where necessary, during term time and the Academy holidays.
- Enter and retrieve data relating to students onto the database and other software packages as required. Produce statistical reports from and other database packages.
- Assist with student welfare duties such as dealing with sick students, liaising with parents/carers and relevant staff, dealing with complex student matters, investigating and resolve any matters.
Salary:
£20,222.00-£22,146.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Stockport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
