Reed is working with Bradford Council and they have several vacancies for Residential Childrens Support Workers in the following areas:

Ilkley (LS29)
Shipley (BD18)
Low Moor (BD12)
Great Horton (BD7)
Thornton (BD13)
Eccleshill (BD2)
Idle (BD10)

We are offering an initial 3 month temporary contract with the expectation for the roles to go permanent if everybody is happy.

As a Residential Support Worker you would be joining Bradford Council at an exciting time of their Service Development.

These roles are full time with varying shift patterns which will include sleep ins.

You will be based in a Residential Home inspiring a small number of children to develop, behaviourally, educationally and emotionally.

Key requirements:

A motivation to work with children and to develop them.
Previous experience of working and supporting children
Have or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent
GSCE C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
