We are looking for a Residences Portfolio Officer who can support the Residences Department who support the coordination of a large number of accommodations and tenanted properties under the portfolio of a large organisation.

This is a fixed term 9 month contract until 31st January 2024.

Duties of the role may include the tasks below:


  • Coordinate and arrange Legal and Tenancy agreements
  • Plan and organise the accommodation availability and be able to provide accommodation
  • Advise on Tenanted properties i.e family accommodation, studio, one, two or three beds
  • Ensure all services to accommodation are met such as linen, housekeeping, maintenance, gardening and boiler maintenance
  • Liaise with external agencies with regard to matter relating to accommodation e.g. Local Council, Environmental Health Organisation, Housing associations and Estate Agents
  • Work to achieve set occupancy and income targets


You must have a flexible approach to duties and time to work to include being able to respond to accommodation emergencies.

This role requires good attention to detail and NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent experience.

As well as good IT skills including Microsoft packages, with the ability to work effectively in a busy team and adjust to change and motivate others.

Knowledge of the following is desirable but not essential:

  • Accommodation/housing management,
  • Fair rents, leases, tenancy agreements, notices to quit & eviction notices

Must have full driving licence & own access to car
