Abatec are currently looking for a Trainee Machine Operative.


The Trainee Machine Operator will be trained in the set-up and operation of a machine as well as learning about many aspects of Engineering and machining of large bespoke components.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • To organise materials and operate machinery to correct shape defects in products
  • To organise materials and operate machinery for cutting to the correct length and weight.
  • Addressing and preventing machining issues.
  • Ensuring products meet our highquality standards.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve production goals.
  • Adhering to safety and quality guidelines.

Requirements:


  • Monday to Friday, (Variety Shifts )
  • Have experience in a Production or Manufacturing environment (not essential)
  • Good timekeeping and attendance
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Due to the site location, you should have access to your own transport, all training will be provided.


Pay:
£11.50-£13.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
