Our UK Head Offices are in Central London, Paddington and surrounded by various amenities.

At Takeda, we have a hybrid approach to working location typically with ~40% / 9 days per month in our office although this can vary depending on business priorities across the year.


Role Objective


The
Oncology Insights Lead is a crucial role involved in identifying the needs and challenges of Takeda's Oncology business so that relevant analytics, actionable insights and recommendations can be delivered to inform key stakeholders.

Using an appropriate mix of omnichannel customer engagement data, secondary data, primary market research and competitor analysis, the role will include a range of activities focusing on forecasting, reporting performance against KPIs, development of dashboards and monitoring of regional performance.


This role is an active part of the marketing brand teams and will work collaboratively and cross functionally in the development and delivery of the core activities as well as brand projects.


Key Accountabilities Of The Role
Working with the relevant Brand teams,
deliver forecasts based on agreed assumptions and within set timelines. Support the presentation of the forecasts to above country stakeholders


Work with cross-functional colleagues to develop, co-create and deliver meaningful and actionable insights within PowerBI dashboards around
omnichannel uptake and utilisation.

Provide ad hoc PowerBI analyses as required by local and regional colleagues.


Analyse and monitor the performance of individual brands through management and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to produce
understandable and actionable insights at the National/Therapy Area/Product level to the relevant brand teams, oncology leadership, regional and global teams as required.


In conjunction with Business Intelligence Manager and relevant brand team,
develop market research/project plans for the brand within the overall Brand Plan which aligns with Takeda's business needs.

Design, commission and manage market research or other third party analysis necessary for the development of the brand covering aspects of strategy and promotional campaign implementation.


Driving the development and enhancement of
analytics platforms/solutions and the associated reports/dashboards (both in-house and in partnership with external partners) to monitor
Business Performance, guide
Business Strategy and enable
Data-driven Decision Making in close partnership with our business unit stakeholders, including marketing, medical, sales and with colleagues in Insights & Analytics.

Managing relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders from the
Global, Regional, and Country level, as well as with External Partners to leverage a rich set of data sources including in-house CRM, Ex-Factory Sales, and Homecare Data as well as externally commissioned Wholesale, In-Market Sales, NHS 'Big' data and Market Research amongst other 3rd Party Data sets


Keep up to date with developments in the availability of external databases, reports and also changes and developments within the pharmaceutical industry environment.


Key Knowledge And/ Or Experience Needed

  • Strong analytical skills are essential
  • Expertise in the capabilities and functionalities of Power BI to develop and manage dashboards for Reporting and Analytics
  • Ability to deliver training sessions on using Power BI (and other tools) to business users
  • Good presentation skills, with an ability to communicate technical material in a nontechnical manner
  • Stakeholder management, able to pace and lead others when delivering change
  • Confidence in acting as the key interface between technology teams and the business, owning these relationships
  • Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical data (e.g. IQVIA, Wilmington, NHS data, inmarket and exfactory sales data).
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of effective marketing and sales strategy in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Clearly demonstrates an ability to challenge thinking at all levels of the business, embracing diverse view
