Infrastructure Services Manager

Salary :
£50,000 - £70,000 + benefits
Daily Duties
Working with employees across the company at all levels, including Senior Management and Heads of Department.
Provide expert knowledge, experience and an innovative approach to support and develop the IT strategy ensuring it is continually appraised and updated to reflect the requirements of the company.
Provide expert strategic knowledge and inspirational leadership, training and coaching to the Infrastructure Services employees for whom you are responsible and have overall management responsibility.
Provide proactive and comprehensive result orientated support to the Head of Operations, Heads of Department and employees on all IT matters.
To be responsible for the operational, strategic planning and provision of resource for the delivery of projects and support across the organisation.
Oversee all third-party relationships as required, including contract terms, cost negotiation and supplier due diligence.
Manage tender processes in relation to IT hardware, networks and security, telephony, printer hardware and service together with software solutions.
Oversee all IT related purchasing, including budget preparation and monitoring.
Key contributor and member for the Information Security, Business Continuity and Risk Management Committees. Requirements include keeping pace with legislation to ensure compliance in all appropriate areas.
Maintain system documentation and carry out annual remote disaster recovery testing.
Responsible for ensuring, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of your employees and that the activities for which they are responsible do not expose anyone to risks to their health or safety.
Knowledge and Experience
Management, oversight and maintenance of a Microsoft operating environment from an on-site datacentre.
Proven experience of delivery of successful IT systems and technology projects, budget management including production of business cases and change recommendation.
Understanding and experience of change management, proven experience of developing, gaining support organisation wide for and implementing robust systems and solutions.
Evidence of strong inclusive team working approach and understanding of and ability to work with non-IT employees to translate organisation and customer needs into successful service delivery.
