Description

CNC Operator:
Supporting the Machine shop team within Score Energy based at our facility in Peterhead.

Primary responsibilities

Responsible for machining of components on a range of CNC Machinery
Will select and modify programs from a database and will also write programs when required
Ensure QA Cards & associated paperwork is completed correctly
Report any plant or equipment damage to Supervisor
Advise Supervisor of any damaged tooling or tooling required
Be willing to undertake extra training on manual machines
Ensuring that correct programs and tooling are selected
Reporting any drawing discrepancies to Supervisor

Experience

Previous experience in a Machine Shop Environment
Previous experience operating CNC Machines

Qualifications

Previous experience in an Engineering environment
Mechanical Apprenticeship or equivalent
