Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting drivers mates for a well known client of ours based in Croydon.


The job involves going out with a driver in a 7.5t lorry to deliver large goods to residential properties. These deliveries are often heavy and can include anything from white goods to beds, wardrobes, gym equipment and furniture.

You will also be required to call ahead to customers with an arrival time, you must therefor have a very good level of spoken English and a good telephone manner. Experience with customers is preferred but not essential.

Pay rates of

£10.65 per hour

The shift pattern is 5-6 days per week and YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.

Shifts start at 06.00 and can be 10-12 hours long some days.

THIS IS AN ONGOING POSITION WITH THE OPTION OF A PERMANENT CONTRACT AFTER 12 WEEKS - This will also result in getting a pay rise after 12 weeks.

  • Reliable and organised
  • Have good communication skills and a good level of customer service
  • Be fit and healthy and able to life heavy goods
  • Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
