Thank you for your interest in the post of Collections Access Trainee with Historic Environment Scotland. This is a 12 month fixed term and pensionable appointment.

This post will be part of a wider programme of Conservation Traineeships.

Conservation Trainees have the opportunity to gain practical experience, learn from experts in their chosen field or craft, increase knowledge of the wider conservation sector, expand their professional network and have access to a wide range of learning resources and opportunities from the Engine Shed, Scotland's dedicated Conservation Resource Centre.


You will work with the Collections and Applied Conservation Team to support the delivery of our collections access and engagement programme.

This will include creating digital content about our collections, and providing physical access through tours, events and displays.
