VAT Associate Director - London - Starting from £78,000

A leading mid-tier practice is seeking a VAT Manager due to continued growth across the department. This is crucial hire within the team, where you will be highly client-focused.

As VAT Associate Director, you will be joining an established and stable team with the ability to work flexibly. It is crucial that you can deal with clients as well as convert technical VAT matters into simple terms.

Whilst the role is consultancy focused, you may be required to support the compliance function from time to time and review VAT returns prepared by the compliance specialists before submission to HMRC.


Main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients that covers a broad range of issues and sectors, with NFP and Property being the greater focus
  • Working closely with the VAT Managers and Directors across various advisory projects Liaising internally with wider areas of the business to capitalise on referrals
  • Dealing with HMRC Seek answers to technical points from legislation and suggest simplified tax planning ideas, relevant to clients
