Job Summary:


Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to transport, load, unload, and stack materials both within the warehouse and on to vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods, ensuring accurate documentation and recording of quantities.
• Organize and maintain inventory shelves, ensuring proper labelling and placement of items to facilitate easy retrieval.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, picking items accurately and securely packaging them for delivery.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and report any issues to line manager. Ensure regular forklift servicing is carried out.
• Ensuring Company vehicles are maintained and serviced as required, reporting any issues to line manager.
• Collaborate with the operations team to manage and prioritize tasks based on daily workload and operational needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
• Display a strong attention to detail, meticulously handling and documenting inventory.
• Work independently and efficiently, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks without constant supervision.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and assisting in resolving them.

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification and demonstrated experience in operating forklift equipment.
• Full driving license.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• PC literacy skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
• Selfmotivated and able to work effectively without constant supervision.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate varying demands and workload fluctuations.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report any issues.
• Physical capability to lift, move, and stack heavy items as required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus.

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
