Job Title:
Trainee Machine Fitter

Shift:
Monday - Thursday 07:4- 17:00, Friday 07:4- 12:30

Salary:
£22,000 - £25,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Location:
Leicestershire, LE8

The Role:


The Machine Fitter (MF) is a key member of the Production Team supporting the build and retrofit of CNC and automated machine systems.


The duties include:


  • Building and assembling CNC machines
  • Aligning ball screws, linear rails
  • Disassembly of machines and rebuild with new components
  • All machine and axis alignments
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Meeting Environmental, Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Experience on machine tools, proven workplace experience
  • Experience with optical and laser measuring equipment is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience on surface scraping would be an advantage
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Ethical and trustworthy.

£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

  • Blaby, Leicestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
