Operations Executive (Maternity Cover)
£25k - £27k
Remote
Med Comms Agency / Remote working / Maternity cover with a view to go permanent / mixture of responsibilities / exposure to different parts of the business
Role Summary
As the Operations Executive your role is an essential part of the successful running of the agency.

You will have a wide-ranging remit, to support the efficient operational and managerial functions that are necessary to ensure continued growth.

You will also have a significant responsibility to help develop the cultural identity and general happiness of the agency, via employee well-being and engagement initiatives.

You will report into the Operations Manager and work closely with other members of the leadership team as required.


You will join the Operations team, ensuring fast, dynamic and efficient delivery of solutions to our clients through an integrated approach.

Position within the agency
The Operations Executive will report to the Creative Operations Lead and not have any line management responsibilities. The role will sit as a central resource, working across a whole spectrum of specialisms.

Key areas of responsibility
Supporting the Creative Planning Managers; resourcing tasks through the Creative team
Have ownership of a central inbox, ensuring incoming tasks are allocated in a timely manner
Track all external resource expenditure and produce monthly reports for the Operations Manager
Oversee management of stock image purchasing process
Co-ordinate new starter inductions
Undertake general administrative tasks as required by leadership team


Identify new ways of maintaining employee engagement: assisting with launching new initiatives and improving the office environment


Proactively participate in agency marketing:
raising the agency profile within Ashfield group and the wider industry, and driving the agency positioning


Requirements:

An outgoing, positive attitude
Experience of working in a digital or creative agency environment
Print buying experience (preferred but not essential)
Ability to support the freelance management and digital operational resource allocation
Prioritise work effectively to meet daily deadlines and to pay close attention to detail.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
Administrative experience
The ability to manage budgets
