CMS Vocational Training, a long standing Apprenticeship, Advanced Learner Loans and now Multiply Government Funded training provider, based in Batley, West Yorkshire, is seeking a dynamic and passionate
Maths Tutor to join our team on either a contractor or zero hours contract basis, delivering high-quality educational support across the
West Yorkshire region.

The Opportunity:

As a Maths Tutor with CMS Vocational Training, you will have the flexibility to inspire and engage students across various settings, tailoring your teaching methods to accommodate individual and group learning needs.

You'll be instrumental in helping students achieve their educational goals and gain the confidence they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and comprehensive maths lessons to a diverse range of adult learners (19+).
Prepare educational material, including lesson plans and learning and assessment resources.
Track and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and educational needs.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of the curriculum and educational best practices.
Collaborate with the CMS Vocational Training team to contribute to the enhancement of our educational offerings.

Requirements:

A degree in Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Previous experience in tutoring or teaching Maths at various levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, enthusiastic approach to teaching and the ability to motivate students.
Access to a car for transport to delivery locations across West Yorkshire
Right to work in the UK.
