Espresso & Sandwich is looking for Baristas to join our team We are a small independent coffee shop and espresso bar in Edinburgh.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in learning the industry.

• Greet customers as they enter and provide a friendly, professional experience
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and food
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including the preparation of food and bar items and the stocking of supplies
• Work cooperatively with other staff members
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning the front counter and restocking the inventory
• Other duties as assigned by manager
• Knowledge of all espresso drinks
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a positive attitude in a fastpaced environment

Education & Experience:

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to work well with others. We are a small company with many staff members sharing duties.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8 hours or more)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.00-£11.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

• Edinburgh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
