Senior Data Engineer

Hybrid, 2 days onsite a week, London Location.

9-Month Contract

Up to £750 per day

Outside IR35

The Company
A fantastic opportunity to join a multi-national healthcare company in a recently, set-up and growing team. The company has a variety of products and strands of the business.

You will join the business as a Senior Data Engineer playing a role in buildingout mission-critical data pipelines and developing out their data storage systems.


Role and Responsibilities
The ideal Senior Data Engineer will be working as part of an agile team to deliver the project requirements.

  • Monitoring our GCP cloud platform.
  • Adept and capable at handling large volumes of data on the occassional basis.
  • Occasional leadership duties in a diverse team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
  • Handson with writing highquality code.
  • Contribute to improvement of existing data pipelines while building new ones from scratch.
  • Interacting with our data storage systems.

Critical Skill Requirements
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the following:

  • GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Python coding skills.
  • SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of big data tools such as Kafka and Hadoop.
  • Experience taking ownership of teams.
