Horton Automatics Ltd, based in Hortonwood, Telford are an established manufacturer, supplier and installer of automatic pedestrian door systems, with over 33 years of trading experience.
Opportunity for a Designer/ Draughtsperson to join our Contracts Department, working from our Telford Office, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm.
Job Duties:
- Work with project managers, customers and architects to produce drawings for approval.
- Use Microsoft Excel cut sheets to create a bill of materials, issued to the shop floor for manufacture.
- Ordering materials for projects, e.g. Glass, Ironmongery
- Liaise with the sales team, providing drawings and technical assistance.
- Liaise with the factory supervisor to ensure jobs are made correctly, and on time.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers.
- Produce AutoCAD drawings for approval and issue projects into manufacture.
Personal Profile:
- Able to work autonomously, as well as within a team.
- MUST have AutoCad Level 1 or above
- Computer literate
- Façade industry experience beneficial
- Good communication and time management skills.
Package:
- Salary of £26,000+, dependent on experience.
- Onsite parking
- Holiday entitlement of 20 days, in addition to bank holidays and a Christmas shut down period.
Salary:
£26,000.00 per year
