At STEM Recruitment Solutions we are working with our client who are looking to recruit a Shipping Administrator based in Livingston.


Duties:


  • Coordinating courier services and managing all necessary documentation, overseeing the entire process from booking shipments to tracking deliveries until the customer receives the order.
  • Handling internal paperwork, including generating and sending delivery notes.
  • Managing stock movements on the ERP system in relation to shipments, ensuring full traceability as a critical aspect of the process.
  • Conducting packing of shipments, including careful adherence to packaging requirements for goods, and handling potentially dangerous goods where relevant.
  • Managing incoming shipping, booking goods received and transferring them to the appropriate storage locations, while notifying relevant employees of the arrivals.
  • Handling reception duties such as answering phone calls and redirecting them or taking messages as needed.
  • Assisting with general office administration tasks on an ad hoc basis, particularly during bank holidays or as required.
  • Providing support for stores functions, including kitting parts and assisting with stock takes whenever necessary.

Salary:
£22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
