Bindon Engineering, is a privately owned business established in 1965 with over 50 years experience, predominately in the oil, gas and nuclear sectors.

In 2009 it moved to it's current location in Holton Heath, to a modern 36,000 sq ft factory on a 31⁄2 acre site, to provide a much increased production capacity, currently employing over 50 employees, working round the clock, both day and night.

Bindon Engineering works very closely with their customers to deliver the best possible service, committed to quality, and is the foundation to their long-term success.

Bindon is currently seeking a CNC Machine Operator.


Your main responsibilities will involve;

• Reading & interpreting engineering drawings
• Following work instruction sheets to aid operating
• Operating a range of Doosan Lynx & Puma machines
• Using Fanuc Operating Systems
• Producing parts to ISO9001 Standard
• Tip/Cutter change
• Offset Adjustments
• Tolerance Control
• Using Inspection equipment to check work
• 5S and maintaining a good standard of housekeeping
• Adhering to Health & Safety

Your skills and qualifications as a CNC Machine Operator;

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering is advantageous but not required.
• Experience of CNC machining is advantageous.
• Able to use Fanuc Operating System (Offset Alterations/Tool Setting), inhouse training can be provided.
