Description

A leader in the design, development and manufacture of complex components supplied to the aerospace & defence sectors has a new vacancy for a Project Manager to join the team.

Working on a number of projects this position will be instrumental in successfulNPI launch, implementing the new Programmne Lifecycle Management Processes and ensuring on time delivery.


Commutable from:
Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester, Coventry, Rugby, Tamworth.

Salary:
£ 50,000 -£55,000 + benefits

Suitable for:
Project Manager, Programme Manager, Program Manager, Programme Director.

The Role
Provide Leadership and direction to deliver the project in accordance with the agreed schedules

Maintain familiarity with contractual relationships and current business relationships with customers

Act as primary point of contact with the customer and organize review meetings accordingly.

Work with the Engineering Director to implement the new Programme Lifecycle Management process.

Measure and monitor the overall performance of the program and KPIs

Creation and deployment of recovery plans (if required)

Identify and communicate improvement opportunities to senior management

Resolve any issues or disputes with the customer

Provide Leadership and direction to deliver the project in accordance with the agreed upon schedule and costs to ensure profitability
