Are you a registered nurse with a passion for developing students and apprentices through their nursing programme and towards professional registration?
To provide coordination of all pre-registration nurse placements within the Trust, ensuring that all students can access a variety of placements in order to achieve their outcomes and successfully register with the nursing and midwifery council.
The post holder will manage and maintain a record of practice assessors, supervisors and preceptors in the Trust and ensure that training is provided where required in order that newer registrants can meet these requirements.
The post holder will be required to record and maintain a high volume of data related to training and student placements in an organised and systematic manner.

General Duties will include:
To maintain robust record keeping, data and co-ordination for all pre-registration nursing development
To keep a record and maintain database/ excel spreadsheets.
Development and maintain database in accordance with agreed process for student nurses, registered nurse degree apprentices, nursing associate apprentices and their supervisors/assessors.
To contribute to the coordination and delivery of the Trust preceptorship programme.
Liaise with internal and external partner agencies including Universities, education and training providers.
To lead the Trust practice education forum to disseminate information to and from student leads.
Act as a representative of the nursing profession, committed to professional development, maintaining own CPD and working to the Trust's values and behaviours at all times.
You may occasionally be asked to undertake such other duties that are deemed necessary in order to support business continuity within the Trust.
