    The Role:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Embodied AI division, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and scaling machine learning algorithms and solutions for autonomous driving.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Technical Leadership: You will lead at least one company-wide program, guiding technical decisions and ensuring successful outcomes.
    • Machine Learning Model Development: You will design, implement, and optimize machine learning models and robotics systems to enhance the capabilities of our Autonomous Vehicle stack.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with various teams to contribute to the broader company strategy and roadmap, focusing on machine learning applications.
    • Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: You will share your expertise and knowledge with junior engineers, enhancing their skills and contributing to the growth of our team.
    • Resource Allocation: You will effectively allocate personal bandwidth and technical resources to meet project requirements and personal professional development needs.
    • Culture Promotion: You will work with leadership and other teams to foster a culture that promotes collaboration, high impact, innovation, and a healthy work environment.
    • Evaluation and Analysis: You will evaluate project decisions and outcomes, identifying dependencies and analyzing risks associated with machine learning deployments.
    • Model Optimization: You will troubleshoot and optimize machine learning models and systems, identifying potential issues, challenging existing assumptions, introducing innovative solutions, and implementing feedback loops to enhance model performance.

    About You:

    • Experience: You should have at least 7 years of software and machine learning engineering experience in an industrial or applied research environment.
    • Skills: You should have good insight into the practical aspects of training, validation, testing, and metrics for deep learning features/models.
    • Passion: You should be passionate about working in a team on research ideas that have real product impact.
    • Literature Knowledge: You should have a good grasp of machine learning literature, ideally published.
    • Data Comfort: You should be comfortable working with large quantities of image and video data.
    • Education: You should have a BSc above in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Software Engineering Experience: You should have strong software engineering experience in Python and other relevant languages (e.g., C++ and CUDA).
    • Direct Experience: You should have direct experience working in at least one of computer vision, robotics, simulation, graphics, or large language models.
    • Advanced Education: You should have an MS, or above in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
