Taylor Stevenson are proud to be working with a well-known logistics company looking to expand their team

We are recruiting for a Traffic Operator, working Sunday to Thursday, preferably for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

Days handover from Nights transport team
Driver briefing and debriefing
Traffic management through the day
Reporting discrepancies/late running etc
Keeping traffic system up to date
Evening handover to nights transport team
Weekly vehicle check to ensure company policies are being adhered to
Accurate recording of trailer locations
Booking agency drivers
Assist in making maintenance bookings

Skills

Experienced transport/traffic operator/planner within the transport industry, ideally within road haulage
Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
Effective communication skills
Attention to detail
Organised, able to prioritise and multitask
Able to prioritise and multitask
Calm under pressure
IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages
Selfmotivated, flexible and confident

Sunday-Thursday, 7am-4pm (Sunday), 9am-6.30pm (Monday-Thursday)

Salary
- £25k-£28k dependant on experience

Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
