Animal Technician

Are you an animal lover looking to begin your career in a rewarding industry?


We have an incredible opportunity for an Animal Technician to join our world-leading client in Coventry, working with rodents and aquatics.


Responsibilities:


  • To work as part of a team to ensure the maintenance of animal cages/tanks
  • Health checking of animals to ensure they are free from injury, disease, pain etc.
  • Assist senior staff with their roles as requested
  • Ensuring areas, surfaces and equipment are as clean and sterile as possible to prevent the introduction or spread of disease and infection
  • Preparing diet for aquatics and rodents
  • Supervised management of breeding colonies
Person Specification

  • You must have previous experience working with animals, specifically rodents and aquatics
  • You must have knowledge of basic animal husbandry and welfare

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£21,761.00-£22,630.00 per year
