An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to work for this successful accountancy practice.

Your duties will be as follows:

  • Supporting the team to prepare and maintain client accounts
  • Processing of accounting records including cash book
  • Dealing with the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and nominal ledger
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Arranging for bank payments and transfers/banking of client receipts
  • Liaising with third parties on behalf of clients e.g., insurance companies, banks
  • Providing administrative support to the team
  • Producing accurate accounting records and other work set
You will have strong Excel and have worked in a similar role previously.
