We are looking for a new leader to manage the UK IPB Operations team.
You will provide and oversee critical operational services to our business enabling them to grow and offer our clients innovative and complex financial products while delivering a high-quality service and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
You will bring a strong experience in operational processes as well as the necessary leadership skills to manage on-site, offshored, and outsourced teams.

Your key responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3 onsite employees and oversee all operations services provided by offshore locations as well as an outsourcing provider. These services cover payments, securities transactions, reconciliation, client tax reporting, regulatory reporting, Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS) oversight as well as custodian and cash correspondent management
- Work in close collaboration with the Front Office and Chief Operating Office (COO) to implement new products, support business growth and provide our clients with a bestinclass service
- Constantly improve our processes to make them efficient, robust and maintain compliance
Your skills and experience
- Previous relevant experience in managing an Operations teams preferably in Private Banking
- Good knowledge of private banking products and related processes including complex products like derivatives and funds
- Knowledge of UK banking regulations and reporting
- At ease in an international and multicultural environment, working across locations and with virtual teams
- Understanding of the Avaloq software is a plus
- Excellent presentation skills at senior level and capacity to explain complex operational topics in simple words
