Description

Microtek is a family-run business based in Yeadon (LS19 near Leeds/Bradford Airport) that delivers EPOS repairs for the UK hospitality and quick service restaurant industry.

Our warehouse provides essential services to the rest of the business including 'booking in' goods, part integrity and correctly locating items, 'booking out' (including working with couriers and pallet companies), and communicating with partners in/out status of goods.

We are looking for a fourth member to join out friendly warehouse team. Past experience is not necessary as training will be given on site.

What is more important is being computer literature, well organised, having a can-do attitude, and generally being a good team player.

What You'll Do on a Typical Day:

• 'Booking in' of goods, ensuring all stock that comes into the warehouse is correctly documented, located physically and in the system.

- 'Booking out' of goods, including:ensuring all good products are packed to company standards;
ensuring all products are correctly labelled and barcoded;
palletising, include pallet wrap where appropriate; and
using the DPD online booking system and associated labelling.

• Use of forklift truck to load and unload wagons (a forklift license not necessary as we can train you onsite).
• Picking sales orders from our sales stock.
• Some stock integrity.
• Help ensure a safe working environment by following company Health and Safety procedures.

About You:

• Prior experience is not essential.
• Computer literate.
• Good attitude who can fit into the team, is reliable and generally helpful.
• You take pride in your work.

Salary:
£10.50-£11.00 per hour
