Your New Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our Asset Management team.


Location:

Birmingham


Reporting to:

Digital Asset Management Partner

You will be responsible for:


Technical

  • Using business intelligence from asset data to build relationships with clients, enabling them to realise the true value of their asset portfolio

Project Management

  • Leading consulting projects and programmes to meet client expectations and internal assurance requirements
  • Leading on deepdives into client pain points, discovering and delivering optimum improvement strategies to optimise asset performance.
  • Developing innovative solutions using data and technology to drive advanced asset management systems and models.
  • Interpreting data and creating companywide reports for change management, financial KPIs/outputs (including risks and opportunities)
  • Being a visible advocate for Asset Management and Amey through effective networking and thought leadership
  • Driving the development of consultant talent and mentoring others on their career paths.

Work Winning

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships enabling the winning of new business
  • Ability to support and lead on the preparation of bids and Tenders

We want to hear from you if you have:


Technical

  • Chartered status in a relevant discipline (or working towards this), of a relevant professional body such as (but not limited to) Asset Management, Engineering, Operations and Economics.
  • Industry experience in major infrastructure and operations, such as operations such as
    rail, ports, property, aviation, highways or energy

  • Expertise in the diagnosis of Asset Management issues based on evidence, and the ability to effectively communicate this.
  • Experience in planning and implementing change programmes as part of Asset Management projects.
  • Experience of developing cutting edge solutions in areas such as strategy, risk management, competence management, organisational change, change management and operational control.

Project Management

  • A proven ability to balance financial and technical demands as part of project management.
  • Evidence of being able to manage small teams within projects.
  • Working with clients to build relationships and deliver customercentric solutions, delivering value where the client needs it most.

Work Winning

  • First class communication and negotiation skills, allowing you to build rapport with a variety of clients.
  • Bid Writing capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fastpaced, everchanging environment.
