Description

Reporting to the Senior QC Engineer, you will be responsible for tracking and stock locating pipes throughout the yard. Delivering daily production reports and gather the required signatures prior saving them in the server. Perform inspection activities in the plant when needed as well as lab testing. Loading in/out pipes when required and getting signatures from the delivery drivers. You will be a team member working to the discipline of QC best practice

Work as part of the QC team, supporting QC operations, to ensure QC responsibilities are effectively maintained.
To work in accordance with generic job profile (QC/Stockyard Operative) and departmental organizational chart.
To work in accordance with all company procedures, company policy and site rules.
To comply with all health and safety statutory requirements and regulations
Ensure that a good standard of housekeeping is maintained in all work areas
Issue all reports in accordance to the approved MITP.
Carrying out the loading in and loading out of pipes.
Maintaining a stock location of all bare and coated pipes.
Gather all the required signatures.
Maintain track of all paperwork status and assure that all are in accordance to the MITP and into the server.
Store the physical reports into designated folders for reference.
Perform lab testing and report daily QC laboratory tests when required.
Perform production inspections when required.
Carrying out any other duties delegated by the Superior from time to time.
