Edsons is a family owned business specialising in high end residential bespoke joinery that have been trading continuously since 1885.

All Edsons staff are time served craftsmen with many years' experience of producing high quality joinery and cabinetwork.


A unique opportunity has arisen to join our experienced workshop, as a fulltime driver/labourer, based out of our premises in Calverton, Nottinghamshire.


Job Type:
Full time _- plus overtime available as required_


Hours of work:

Minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) but often required to do overtime with occasional Saturday work.


Holiday: 29 days per annum - _including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown period_

  • Wrapping and loading van.
  • Physical and manual labouring.
  • Day to day labouring duties such as cleaning and removing debris.
  • Experience preferred but not essential.
  • Completing general tasks around the workshop.
  • Physically fit.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Full UK or EU driving licence. (Preferably clean.)
  • Good problemsolving skills.
  • The ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Using initiative.
  • Flexible work commitment.
