The role

We have a new opportunity for a qualified Finance Business Partner to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, to cover a period of parental leave.

This role will be based at our London, White City office.

As Finance Business Partner, you'll be responsible for providing strategic commercial support to our Technology function, delivering against performance expectations as a whole.

Key focus will be enabling strategic priorities contributing to ITV's profitable and sustainable growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Developing deep and trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, partnering with integrity and challenge, confidently balancing business requirements with the requirements of the Finance function.
Support the CIO and Management team in leading the group wide Technology Strategy.
Leading the development of FinOps Capability within the group (Cloud Financial Management/CFM) and driving new processes and ways of working.
Support the Group Investment Committee (GIC) and the Chairman of GIC as Secretary of the committee.
Review, challenge and prioritise investment cases, ensuring benefits commitments are delivered.
Advise the Business FD's and Technology partners on best financial practices(accounting, ROI models etc) to support Agile software delivery and Product Development.
Drive performance of the Technology function through high quality analysis and decision support.
Strategic cost management/mining of Technology function, understanding and influencing key drivers, optimising value creation.
Understand and assess the commercial impacts of technical accounting decisions.
Monitor and provide insight into macroeconomic and industry trends, considering potential short, medium and long term impacts on current plans.
Support Business Finance FD's to deliver the business area's financial outcomes and performance KPIs.
Work closely with the FP&A Centre of Excellence which will provide first line support on financial and KPI reporting, forecasting, budgeting, planning, and analysis, budgeting.
Line manage and support the development of a Finance Business Partner.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant.
Extensive commercial finance experience.
Experience of partnering with CIO's, with an understanding and appreciation of current and emerging technology trends and their changing commercial models, and their related financial consideration.
Experience of Agile software delivery and product development.
Experience of SaaS models and Cloud Technology.

Experience working in the media industry preferred, but not essential.
Experience of working with international teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships with the business and across the Finance function.
Ability to influence decisionmaking among senior stakeholders, providing appropriate challenge.
Experience of operating in a matrix structure.
