My leading chemical manufacturing client is looking for a Laboratory Manager to help manage all their laboratory operations.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced analytical chemist looking for their next step, or a Laboratory Manager / Team Leaderthat wants to challenge themselves in a varied and rewarding role.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of key areas such as; sample analysis, R&D, daily log and equipment records, lab consumables management and supply, lab health and safety, maintaining company guidelines and ensuring quality and actingas a point of technical support.

Due to the advanced nature of this role, you will need to be familiar with analytical chemistry, in particular ICP(AES/MS), GC, UV-Vis, conductivity and wet chemistry.

This will need to be preceded by a chemistry related background. You will need to be R&Dminded, happy to take responsibility for tasks and ensuring their completion on time. You will assist with daily QC operations, so any experience of this will be highly beneficial. Being a lead role, your communication will need to be strong, both writtenand verbal.
