Description
We currently have a new opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator/Assistant to join us in our Stockport Head Office.

The purpose of the role will be to assist the Payroll Manager in providing a professional and efficient payroll service and ensuring payments are accurate and on time.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing starter & leavers, ensuring all statutory deductions and thirdparty payments are made.
  • Collation of timesheets as appropriate across all payrolls.
  • Process payroll for all staff using Payrite system.
  • Prepare reports for audit & legislative requirements & costing analysis.
  • Distribution of correspondence to employees (Pay slips, P11d's, P60's).
  • Ensure compliance in line with HMRC requirements.
  • Compile monthly and yearly reports.
  • Assist with reconciliation of expenses.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a payroll related role.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and software.
  • Excellent prioritisation, organisational skills, and ability to work to deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Selfmotivated, and able to work on own initiative; enthusiastic with 'can do' attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in PC operating systems (Word / Excel / Outlook) and payroll system.
