Key Responsibilities

To liaise with colleagues, and ensure that a meaningful production plan is prepared, reviewed, and maintained
Ensure reporting procedures are in place and are communicated to all company employees / managers
Introduction of a continuous improvement programme.
Liaise with Material department / suppliers to ensure materials are available as required to meet customer expectation and demand.
Liaise with Production Manager to plan, review and control staffing levels, to achieve production schedules based on the current production plan.
Review and monitor daily targets and target achievement (Target v Actual)
To ensure training and development of employees is reviewed regularly. Target a multi skilled working environment to achieve production and quality targets.
To coordinate with the technical department to ensure that any drawing issues allow for material lead time and availability for Workshop.
Regularly review resources to ensure future workload and customer demands can be met.
To review production output and submit daily / weekly / monthly reports to Management.
To ensure adequate communication channels exist from shop floor to Management.
To communicate monthly to all employees on production performance
To monitor closely the timekeeping and attendance trends, to ensure mínimal impact to the production output, and seek guidance from HR.
Troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
