Responsibilities:


  • The Indirect Supply Chain organization is responsible for ~$561M in annual EMEA spend (with the UK, Germany, Poland & France representing 85% of the spend) supporting procurement for Collins Aerospace.
  • We are seeking a motivated and strategic individual to manage all Indirect commodities in the EMEA region (Europe & Middle East) to develop and execute strategies that generate savings for the business. Project development, negotiation and project execution are key deliverables.
  • In this role the Non-Product Procurement Associate Director is part of the Collins Aerospace Indirect Supply Chain Enterprise team and provides support to the Collins Aerospace SBU's and will work closely with the Global RTX Corporate Supply Chain team in all aspects of the EMEA Indirect Procurement strategy in leveraging Indirect Procurement spend.
  • Core responsibilities include EMEA Indirect Supply Chain commodity responsibilities, spend analytics, development, and execution of annual Procurement strategies (Global strategy roll outs & Regional Strategies), supplier negotiations (Global, Regional or Country), supplier performance management & operational support. Key Indirect commodities of focus include, MRO encompassing Plant Consumables, Chemical Management Solution & Industrial Gas Sub-Categories, Facilities encompassing Facility Management services, Machinery & Equipment, Utilities, Logistics, Travel, Contingent Labor, Professional Services, and others as required across the EMEA Region.
  • Develop and implement robust Collins Aerospace crossSBU and RTX Corporate EMEA commodity strategies and Supply Chain projects associated with all commodities to drive cost savings.
  • Drive and coordinate implementation of Collins Aerospace EMEA sites into major supplier integrators to drive savings and increase spend penetration.
  • Lead as a project manager, including with crossfunctional resources in key strategic sourcing and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Support frequent regional meetings (EMEA, Country & Commodity Procurement Councils).
  • Benchmark European markets in commodities to incorporate into Procurement strategies and to share best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and business trends in the indirect commodities and incorporate these trends, when appropriate, into the commodities strategic plan.

Required
University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience

Travel may be required periodically. Expect 10% to 30%.


Languages:
English (required), other languages like German, Polish, French & Italian would be useful.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management/commodity management/supply chain/procurement with increasing levels of responsibility. Experience in related activities in aerospace may be an acceptable substitute (e.g., Plant Consumables, Facilities Management, Contingent Labor, Operations/Program management experience, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies for complex Indirect commodities.
  • Strong experience managing or leading projects and/or programs. Experience leading individuals across matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated success in developing tactical plans and carrying through to successful execution.
  • Experience influencing management and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate a vision and supply chain strategy to senior management.
  • Proven knowledge of procurement and supply chain modern processes and techniques.
  • Experience in contract development and negotiations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (MS project, Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Access)
