Salary Details:BS10 Fixed (currently £20,972 pro rata)

Equivalent to £10.90 per hour

(fractionalised posts are paid in equal amounts over 12 months and an element of holiday pay will be incorporated into the calculation)

Hours of Work: 28.5 hours per week x 40 weeks per year

Working weeks - 36 of which are the College's term time weeks plus 2 planned training weeks. You will be required to work the additional 2 weeks flexibility throughout the academic year as per agreement with the department.

Contract Type: Salaried - permanent

Qualifications:

- Ideally you will hold a Level 2 Food Safety certificate. If you do not currently hold this qualification, you will be required to undertake and achieve this during employment
- Awareness of HACCP and COSHH would be advantageous.

You will have experience within a similar role either as a Cleaning Assistant/Kitchen Porter within the catering industry. You must have the ability to work well within a team and independently as there may be a requirement for you to work flexibly during mornings and evenings.

The responsibilities of the role include, the cleaning and maintenance of the College's coffee shop, restaurant, kitchens, setting up buffets, preparing teas/coffees as required, stock checks and support for the teaching team.

- Yn ddelfrydol, bydd gennych dystysgrif Diogelwch Bwyd Lefel 2 (os nad oes gennych cymhwyster hwn ar hyn o bryd, bydd yn ofynnol i chi ei gyflawni o fewn amserlen y cytunwyd arni).
- Byddai ymwybyddiaeth o HACCP a COSHH yn fanteisiol.
