Part time - 22 hours per week

£25,768 per annum, pro rata

A tremendous opportunity has become available for a passionate and talented individual to take on a role within the Active Partnership's Children & Young People (CYP) team.

Bedford Borough Council have committed to a 3 year partnership with Be Active to fund and support the role out of StreetTag across Bedford Borough.

Working closely with the Senior Relationship Manager for CYP we are looking for someone to drive forward StreetTag across Bedford Borough.

You will need to understand the role of the
Active Partnership -
Be Activeand our remit in terms of underpinning the Sport England Strategy in providing opportunities to help people get active.

We are looking for someone with the desire to improve lives across Bedford Borough as part of a highly successful team.

You will be working with schools and community organisations across the Borough, particularly in areas of deprivation to actively support and promote the project.

You will also be working closely with StreetTag and local partners to ensure a coordinated set up and roll out of the app.

You will be responsible for the project management and development of StreetTag including developing a marketing, communications and engagement plan in conjunction with StreetTag.

Be Active has a strong reputation locally, regionally, and nationally. Can you make the team even better?

This post will involve some flexibility around working from home and other bases, including weekend and evening work on occasions and with travel around Bedfordshire expected at times.
