£11.00 to £12.14 per hour, based on experience

EPA Manufacturing Ltd is based in near the city of Lincoln, at Wickenby.

EPA Manufacturing Ltd, is a leading specialist ammunition manufacturer working within the global Defence Industry. Established for over 15 years, we have recently moved to a brand-new facility near Lincoln due to continued expansion. We are an approved supplier to many Defence
Organisations in the UK and worldwide, currently exporting to over 30 countries.

The move has created an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join our team.

This position is suited to a well-disciplined person with a methodical approach and an eye for detail, someone who is looking to advance within a growing organisation.

This position is based in our Production Department and answers to the Factory Manager.

Production Operative Responsibilities and Duties:

Manual and automated assembly of various types of energetic products. Carefully following manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), whilst adhering to safe working policies & procedures.
Good housekeeping is essential. It is important to always maintain an organised clean work area.

Having responsibility for carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing operations to ensure quality is built in, and that any defects or concerns are highlighted and dealt immediately.

Production Operative qualifications and skills

Demonstrable experience in manufacturing operations is essential. (Specific job training will be
- given.)_
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination.
Good practical and technical skills.
Good communication skills, able to share information clearly.
IT and numerical skills, with basic computer literacy

Flexible 4-day week with occasional shift work

initially £11.00 rising to £12.14ph
