Staines Engineering Ltd are looking for a dynamic, hard-working person who adapts quickly and thrives in a team. It is essential to be organised and efficient, while also being able to maintain focus to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities/duties to include:

Lead the production line to ensure orders are met to specific deadlines.
Coordinate the workshop and liaise with department supervisors to ensure production is running efficiently and meeting deadlines.
Meeting customer satisfaction, ensuring that the highest quality is adhered to.
Liaise with the design team to ensure designs and material orders are completed ready to go into production, fulfilling tight timescales.
Work to the production planner and update on a daily basis any potential issues that cannot be solved and threaten to miss production deadlines, informing your line manager.
Advise accounts teams on job completion and gather the relevant documentation.
Work closely with the rest of the logistics team to maximise efficiency.
Overseeing workloads and schedules of manufacturing team.
Attend weekly production meetings, updating the Managing Director on production.
Work closely with Health and Safety coordinator.
Manage/oversee all departments in workshop and fabrication bays.

Knowledge abilities/skills:

Ability to problem solve, project manage and work as part of a team.
Leadership abilities
It would be an advantage to have experience in an engineering company.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

The role is available on a permanent basis working Monday to Friday in our office based in Torrington, Devon. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Salary:
£38,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
