Industria personnel are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Quality Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton on a permanent basisOur client is a market leader in the logistics and automotive sector, they manage supply chain synergies for global premier automotive and technology brands
Role/Responsibilities:
- Gather data from the customer and internal sources as input for problem solving and communicate/report to appropriate personnel. Interact with staff within the locations and within the Company and all customer and prospective customer representatives
- Administer all projects and documentation (quality system) relative to assigned processes/launches (i.e. operator instructions (SWS, WES), PFMEA's and process control plans)
- Provide input on processes from a quality perspective, aid in the implementation of new processes. (3rd party sorts, suspect material, damaged material etc.)
- Champion Lean engineering goals in addition to being an aid in developing, implementing and maintaining a Lean culture within the organisation using a handson approach
- Develop and design irreversible corrective actions for known problems.
- Generate, interpret, analyse, and communicate results using management tools, graphs, and reports
- Provide input on document enhancement and retention, maintain ISO documentation and controls, administer activities required to maintain ISO certification, and actively coach the organisation for maintaining ISO system
- Leads and support the internal and external auditing program in order to identify and report any potential and/or existing quality issues
- Drive regional and local quality initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Your Key Qualifications:
- Experience working in an automotive or logistics environment working in a quality capacity (Min 2 years)
- Extensive knowledge and/or training in Core Tools (APQP, FMEA)
- Knowledge of relevant international standards (ISO 9001, 14001; OHSAS 18001 etc.)
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- Conform to the processes and requirements of their integrated management system
- Achieve effectiveness of their integrated management system by following the Quality Policy and meeting company objectives
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday 07:00am - 15:30pm & Friday 07:00am - 14:30pm
They may alter shift times and patterns dependent on business needs, and will provide reasonable notice should this arise
Salary:
£35,566.53 per annum
