IT Continuous Improvement Analyst - £300-£350 - Outside IR3- Fully Remote


The IT Continuous Improvement Analyst will take an important role in partnering with the business in defining opportunities, developing clear customer delivery focused recommendations, and ultimately owning the delivery of fit for purpose, scalable processsolutions in a timely manner.

They will draw on internal and external data & perspectives in providing the IT delivery teams with solutions and improvements to current business processes.


The IT Continuous Improvement Analyst will support the transition of the IT department's delivery capability towards increasingly Agile and product-based ways of working, as well as leading specific work streams to improve processes, structures and tools.


With experience of managing and documenting different types of project and programme process improvement initiatives to meet agreed delivery outcomes, the IT Continuous Improvement Analyst will be able to demonstrate experience of setting performance standardsfor teams against frameworks and best practice.

Experience working in the education sector will be preferred.


Details:

  • Partnering with IT and wider customer delivery functions to support them with incremental continuous improvements.
  • Challenge the validity of given procedures, processes, policies and systems. Focus especially on (part of) processes that could be reengineered, digitised or automated working in conjunction with the PMO and Demand & Capacity functions.
  • Documenting & supporting 'as is' processes and controls across the IT functions.
  • Review of 'As Is' processes and help to document process changes and 'To Be' process designs.
  • Support the preparation of costeffective recommendations for 'To Be' process improvements.
  • Documenting and supporting implementation of new processes and controls the IT functions.
  • Collaborating with IT ELT to plan business processes and how this intertwines with the delivery roadmap.
  • Identifying the IT processes and tooling use that act as a barrier to effective delivery.
  • Assist with the presentations and communications / stakeholder engagement with sponsors and senior leaders to secure stakeholder support and buyin
  • Identifying, scoping, and facilitating improvement and opportunity framing workshops and process improvement workshops
  • Build strong partnerships with business colleagues at all levels across the customer through providing process improvement knowledge and experience.
