Description

The main duties:

Overall responsibility for the Management accounting
Preparation of monthly accounts with insightful commentary and analysis
Ensuring the team process purchase invoices and expenses as well as the reconciliation of incoming funds
Providing support to accounts team in terms of best practice accounting
Ensure the timely completion of monthly close processes with complete and accurate recording of all close transactions.
Continually review processes for ongoing improvement in the workflows, looking to improve the efficiency of the reporting process
Submission of monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
Liaising with auditors during their interim and final audit visit
Participating in and completing special accounting projects
Ownership the subsidiary cash flows

Qualifications & experience

General ledger experience in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical ability and natural problem solver
Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Sage is helpful, especially Sage 200
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
