JOB PURPOSE


To provide comprehensive HR support to the HR Manager and the business in all aspects of HR advice, and employee relations cases.

To drive HR initiatives that enable operational effectiveness and ensure the business achieves the annual financial plan

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_
  • To be first point of escalation for all queries and employee relations cases across the Retail business. Ensure they are dealt with in a proactive and timely manner in line with local legislations and company policies
  • To provide input on policy reviews by researching and staying ahead of legal timelines and updates
  • To have a proactive approach in driving down employee turnover, creating action plans for high attrition stores, and sharing best practice approaches across the region and cluster
  • To drive a highperformance culture across Retail through talent management, performance management, and leadership development
  • Partner with Retail districts, to provide HR functional support and advice to Store Management. To maintain a dynamic strategy which ensures managers are upskilled and empowered to reduce employee relations cases and escalations
  • Support the HR Manager to provide partnership to the business to identify strategies to increase employee engagement through effective communication, policies, and practices
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to daytoday management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Actively manage employee contracts, benefits and overall lifecycle at all stages, ensuring compliance with the local legislations and company policies
  • Ensure all Retail managers have a full understanding of HR processes and support as part of their onboarding
  • Educate and guide the business to ensure "bestin class" HR practices and procedures are in place. Drive accountability to line managers to ensure compliance in adopting and using Workday to manage their data and teams
  • Establish and maintain a strong partnership with your key stakeholders across the organisation and Cluster HR team
  • To connect regularly and have a valuable contribution to HRG network across the cluster to ensure consistency in ways of working
Travel requirement: 30% across UK & Ireland

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS_

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law or CIPD preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a HR function
  • Previous experience from retail is an advantage but not a must
  • A full UK driving license and access to transport are also essential
