There'll be plenty of opportunity to make a difference to the lives of our customers though digital content on our Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland businesswebsites.

You'll be part of a broader team that is shaping the future of the Business and Commercial banking's website, step-changing the customer experience, leading on development of new navigation, new components and major content upgrades supporting product,servicing, coverage and marketing to deliver their business objectives.


In addition, our team is also fundamental in supporting our customers and the bank's strategic agenda around key thematics such as; sustainability, cost of living and productivity.

Data and insight is at the heart of our thinking, both to inform our recommendationsand measure and optimise performance.

Location is flexible with hubs in Bristol, London and Cardiff. We embrace agile working.


The Role


In this role you'll work with partners across our Business and Commercial business to understand their digital requirements and make recommendations on content and customer experience optimisation, using our Content Management system (CMS).

You'll be theguardian of the customer experience, ensuring that the quality of brief received has the customer at the heart of the thinking, and upholds the best customer experience principles.


The changes you'll lead on can vary, from helping to improve online customer communications, through to playing a leading role in supporting redesign projects and our transformation programmes.

You'll take ownership for updating the content and design changesin the CMS and support the final delivery of the changes to our live websites.

What you'll get involved with?

  • Becoming a credible consultant for partners across the business, truly understanding the capabilities of AEM and the components, proactively understanding the design systems across the site to provide recommendations focused on the customer, that we canbuild and that are consistent with the experience cross site.
  • Reviewing content requests for relevancy, accuracy and quality, collaborating with partners until quality standards are met and proactively involving your LM, our Content Strategist and Visual Designer for more complex briefs
  • Ensuring execution of content change to websites are timely, accurate, accessibility friendly (supporting our accuracy and Crownpeak reporting KPI's) and enforcement to governance requirements
  • Contributing to the overall performance and design standards of the public website, suggesting new ideas to make existing components better, or new components to uplift customer experience and website performance
  • Implementing simpler changes and proactively raising briefs to delivery small changes and identified errors/fixes
  • Potentially use Adobe analytics to glean insights from existing customer behaviour to inform your thinking and recommendations learning from each activity

About your experience

  • You'll have a deep understanding of content management systems, significant understanding of User Experience and User Centred Design principles. Significant experience of web development either for projects or BAU site maintenance and a real passion foreverything digital. You'll also be adept at balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic and delivery environment, a strong teammate but also able to use own initiative.

The skills and background you'll need.

  • A solid grasp of CMS Systems, ideally AEM
  • A proactive approach, a desire to make a difference, a commitment to better and real sense of accountability
  • Attention to fine detail ensuring accuracy of change
  • Partner management establishing relationships with colleagues to ensure the best outcome for our customers
  • Good written communication skills, comfortable with data helpful
  • Planning and organisation skills to ensure delivery according to business requirements
  • Experience in UX and UX principles
  • Page build to support search engine optimisation and accessibility
  • A real passion for empathising and translating customer needs, ensuring they have the customer in mind in all decisions
  • Desirable skills : web analytics, visual design
