An exciting opportunity has become available within our business, due to natural growth. We are looking for an experienced transport planner. You will be joining a small but busy transport office within a fast growing business.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop with the business and be a direct part of it's success.

The hours for this role are Monday - Friday.

The Duties include (but not limited to):

Planning routes for drivers, taking in to account load size, load weight, mileage, timings, drivers hours, congestion zones etc.
Problem solving, this includes replanning routes/loads at short notice.
Communicating with drivers throughout the day and dealing with any issues that arise.
Operating on the Courier Exchange platform (Experience an advantage but not essential).
Provide a very high level of customer service, in order to build relationships with drivers, internal and external customers.
Quoting customers when required.
General office duties.

Your qualities we are looking for:

A planning background within the transport industry, dealing with drivers and customers.
The ability to work well under pressure in a busy transport environment.
Good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Strong analytical skills.
A positive, willing and helpful attitude.
The ability to multitask.
Good IT skills (Excel spreadsheet essential).
Be flexible with start and finish times when required.
Romanian speaking is an advantage but not essential.
