An exciting opportunity to join women's and children's services as a communication and commercial support administrator, working at the heart of our communications within the division.

The role supports the commercial team with projects that involve patient engagement, development of ideas, creating great social media content, working on website information and updates, making videos to use both internally/externally and presentation of data both numerically and visually.

Once face to face events are resumed, there will be work around the planning and organising of events, including any training days.


Supporting the different teams across the division, the role is varied from formatting reports to producing patient information and posters.

Also researching material for social media posts and working with clinical teams to bring social media posts to life and keep the patient at the heart of what we do.

We are a friendly team who work collaboratively and there is always opportunity to learn and progress.

The division covers a large breadth of medical disciplines so you will have involvement in many different areas and facilitate providing information to our patients in a fun and engaging way.

Working closely with the central communications team and building strong internal and external relationships you will support with divisional priorities whilst maintaining the Cambridge University Hospital brand identity.

Main duties of the job

To work closely with divisional colleagues to manage and create internal and external communications.

Qualifications:

Essential criteria

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

NVQ level 3 or equivalent Customer Service/ Business Admin /Social Media or equivalent experience

  • Web experience or training in digital media, web development or similar fieldExperience
