Are you a newly qualified midwife who is enthusiastic, motivated and has a passion for working with women and families across the maternity pathway?


We offer a bespoke preceptorship programme delivered by a very passionate, full time preceptorship midwife who will provide you with support and guidance alongside the ward and team midwives.

The programme evaluates very well and has led to increased midwife retention in our maternity teams.


You will have the opportunity to rotate throughout the service; this will be tailored to your needs and will support you on your journey through your first year as a qualified Midwife.

Following completion of your competencies, the Preceptorship Midwife will ensure that you progress to a band 6 midwife.
