Job description

  • The School of Psychology at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology.
  • The Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, which is the only one in N. Ireland, is renowned for its trainee research output, its interprofessional education programme and close working with NHS stakeholders. You will join an ambitious, compassionate and collegial programme team whose aim is to deliver excellence in clinical psychology research and training.
  • Professional qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent and eligible for HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Publication record in peer reviewed journals that are REF returnable at international level (to a panel that includes psychology), commensurate with career stage.
  • A sustainable, wellestablished programme of research that complements existing research activities within the School.
  • Evidence of successful supervision/mentoring of PhD students and/or research staff.
  • University level teaching experience in UG and/or PG programmes to psychology students in the last four years, including delivery and assessment, preferably using innovative techniques and/or VLEs.
  • This role is full time, however, we are open to the consideration of a parttime or a fulltime appointment
