Description
The Blouet Lab at the Institute of Metabolic Science, University of Cambridge is looking for an animal technician to support in vivo work in mouse models.
Research in the Blouet group investigates the mechanisms through which the brain senses food and controls appetite and body weight.
We use various surgical models to deliver drugs into the brain or specific tissues (gut), or sample blood in awake mice.
We combine these approaches with physiological assessments to measure weight gain, food intake, feeding behaviour, metabolism and glucose homeostasis.Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2029 in the first instance.
