LEAD ESTIMATOR
Our Client
We are currently recruiting for a Lead Estimator for one of our clients, based in Worcestershire.
Job Responsibilities
- To respond to incoming enquiries after receiving receipt of Survey Notes from surveyors
- Raise to National Sales Manager and Head of Commercial on any upselling/commercial opportunities
- Follow up with all enquiries efficiently
- To raise any issues with quotation delays to senior management
- Adhere to the targeted sales revenue
- Be a key collaborator for subcontractor relationships for estimating and bidding
- Prepare estimate presentations, special studies, budget control reports and estimating documents for projects and client presentations
- Conduct quantity takeoffs, variance and maintain quantity controls
- To manage Sales Administrators workload
- To produce updated reports as needed ready for routine board reports
- Extensive experience as an estimator
- Construction knowledge
- Consultative sales approach
- Knowledge of construction methods
- British standards/best practices understanding
- Experience creating estimating models via Google Sketchup
- To be personable and a team player
